Brian Morgan Duddy Jr. of Fair Haven passed peacefully April 30, 2023, surrounded by his adoring mother Kelley and father Brian.

Brian was born Sept. 28, 1994, in New York City and spent the last 27 years in Fair Haven. He was a brilliant, sweet, sensitive boy who loved sailing, skiing, golf and spending time at the beach club.

Brian was an exceptional student, graduating Rumson Country Day School in 2009, Rumson-Fair Haven High School in 2013 and Lehigh University in 2017.

He was an avid and highly accomplished sailor, winning many local Optimist and 420 sailing regattas and representing the Rumson-Fair Haven High School sailing team that went to the High School Nationals in Austin, Texas.

Brian loved cross country running and his coaches and teammates, many with whom he remained friendly. Brian’s other passion was skiing with his family, his cousins and his uncle’s ski posse. He was a fierce, hard-charging skier who loved speed, the bumps, the trees and really any terrain a mountain offered.

Brian also loved his Kappa Sigma brothers at Lehigh University.

Finally, Brian loved his family and was a role model to his younger brothers and was closely connected to his 10 first cousins.

He is survived by his parents, Kelley and Brian, his two brothers, John and Carter, and many loving relatives.

A Memorial Mass was held May 8 at The Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven.
