Brianna Hernandez, 21, of Middletown, passed away April 23, 2022. Born in Red Bank, she was a graduate of the Academy of Law and Public Safety in Long Branch. Brianna was currently pursuing her studies at Montclair State University and was on track to study law and become a lawyer. She also worked at Hand and Stone in Holmdel. A vibrant and friendly soul, Brianna loved music and dancing.
Brianna is survived by her mother Catalina “Cathy” Hernandez, of Middletown; her father Raul Hernandez of Ocean; her brothers, Raul (Sofia Medina) Hernandez and Carlos (Julia O’Grady) Hernandez; her step-brother Jacob Hernandez; her nieces and nephew, Angeline, Katherine and Matthew Hernandez; and her paternal grandmother Teresa Tepepa.
Brianna was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Bricio Hernandez and her maternal grandparents, Alberto Lopez and Guillermina Garcia.
Family and friends visited May 3 at John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
A funeral Mass was held May 4 at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Red Bank. Burial followed at Fair View Cemetery in Middletown.
