Mary G. Carhart, 90, of Matawan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26 at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. She was born Mary G. Diodato on April 4, 1925 in Keyport, where she has lived her entire life and raised her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Angelina (Ochinegro) Diodato; her beloved husband, Hudson D. Carhart Jr.; and her daughter-in- law, June Carhart. Mary is survived by her loving children, Diane Smith and her husband Robert of Manchester, Robert Carhart of Middletown and Hudson C. Carhart Sr. of Lakewood; her cherished grandchildren, Dawn Korzelius and her husband Dennis, Robert Smith and his wife Janie, Hudson C. Carhart Jr., Johnathan Carhart and Joshua Carhart; along with her adored great-grandchildren, Jacob, Hailey and Wyatt. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Visitation and a prayer service has held on Sunday, January 3 and Monday, January 4 at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hazlet.
