Carol A. Giordano, 81, of Colts Neck, passed away peacefully Aug. 24, 2023, at Riverview Medical Center.
Carol was born and raised in Jersey City, where she attended Ferris High School. Following high school, she began her career on Wall Street for the Great American Insurance Company.
On Sept. 20, 1964, she married the love of her life, Kenneth, whom she had known since they were 12 years old. The two began their life together in Jersey City but eventually moved to Colts Neck in 1973 to raise their family, where they reside today.
Carol loved her home life and she loved to cook; her specialty was chicken and eggplant parm. She loved planting and tending to her beautiful garden. She also enjoyed needlepoint, her dog Rosie, and having her family around. She loved dinners with the family and was extremely passionate about her grandchildren.
Carol was predeceased by her parents Joe and Rose and her cousin Anton Mure.
Carol is survived by her loving husband Kenneth, her daughter Jennifer Martin, sons Brendan, Nicholas and Gregory Giordano and his wife Lori and their children Kaitlyn, her husband Brandon and Alexander. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Robert and her cousin Arlene Mure and her husband Donald Fierce.
Visitation was held Aug. 28 at the Holmdel Funeral Home, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian burial was offered Aug. 29 at St. Mary’s Church, Colts Neck. An entombment followed at Holmdel Mausoleum.
