Cathy E. Guba (née Tucker) passed away April 24, 2025, at her home in Fair Haven. She was a devoted wife to her husband Phil and a loving sister, aunt and friend.
Born Dec. 7, 1958, in Chicago, Cathy was a graduate of Middletown North High School and attended Catholic University in Washington, D.C. For many years, she was the office manager and an assistant at her father’s dental practice in Middletown.
Cathy’s infectious smile and loving personality captured the hearts of all who knew her. She was an avid gardener, baker and an accomplished equestrian. Her animals held a special place in her life.
Cathy is survived by her husband Phil, sisters Susan and Maureen, and brothers John and Chris. She was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Joan, and brother Michael.
A funeral Mass was held April 30 at St. Agnes Church in Atlantic Highlands. Cathy will be interred following the Mass at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
John E. Day Funeral Home in Red Bank is in charge of arrangements.
