Clair E. Thomas, 73, died May 25, 2022, in Red Bank. He was born in French Cul de Sac in Saint Martin, and lived in Belford.
Clair worked for General Motors for 30 years. He liked to be outside working out and enjoyed the beach, especially on his home island of Saint Martin. He loved to work on cars and watch sports with his glass of wine.
Surviving are his wife Eileen Thomas; his children, Charles Gardner (Jennifer), Sean Thomas (Danielle) and Victoria Richardson (Charles); his grandchildren, Amber, Kaitlyn, Charlotte, Jaden, Logan and Carter; and sister Gracita Thomas, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Clair was preceded in death by his siblings, Alexina Freeman, Jules Thomas, Philbert Thomas, Melida Rogers, Jessika Vasquez, Monique Rollins and Jean Claude Hunt.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 3, at New Monmouth Baptist Church, Cherry Tree Farm Road, Middletown. A funeral service will be offered at 5:30 p.m. following visitation.
