Remove Vehicles From Streets, Says Red Bank Mayor

In order to clear the way for snow plows, Red Bank Mayor Pat Menna is announcing that all cars must be off the streets when snow begins to accumulate, and all parked vehicles should be removed from English Plaza and White Street Parking Lots by 10 p.m. Monday.
Broad Street will be barricaded to traffic at 1 a.m., Tuesday he said in a statement.
Businesses are urged to close by 10 p.m. Monday. Borough offices, municipal meetings and recreation activities have been cancelled through Tuesday.
In addition, sidewalks must be cleared of snow and ice by tenants or property owners within 24 hours of the snowfall’s end.
Vehicles must be removed from all posted “snow emergency routes,” or in places where No Parking signs are posted.  They are:
• Bodman Place Both From Riverside Avenue to the end
• Broad Street Both From Harding Road to Front Street
• Brower Place Both From Morford Place to Bridge Avenue
• Canal Street Both From Broad Street to Hudson Avenue
• Catherine Street Both From Leighton Avenue to Tilton Avenue
• Chapin Avenue Both From Munson Place to the western end
• Drummond Place Both Monmouth Street to Peters Place
• Hudson Avenue Both From Linden Place to Harding Road
• Linden Place Both From Broad Street to Spring Street
• Mechanic Street Both From Broad Street to Spring Street
• Monmouth Street Both From Broad Street to Shrewsbury Avenue
• Morford Place Both From Front Street to Brower Place
• Tilton Avenue Both From Catherine Street to River Street
• Wallace Street Both From Broad Street to Spring Street
• Waverly Place Both From Broad Street to Maple Avenue
• White Street Both From Broad Street to Maple Avenue
Residents who do not have enough parking available to them can park in the Count Basie Park Lot and in the eastern portion of the Mechanic Street Parking Lot.
