Francis J. Corley, 89, passed away peacefully Sept. 11 at Bayside Manor.
He was born Jan. 24, 1929, to John and Agnes (Donovan) Corley in Manhattan where he grew up with five siblings. He was a graduate of Manhattan College and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Frank, as he was known to many, moved to Middletown in 1957 where he and his late wife Kathleen (neé Gittens) raised their family.
Frank is survived by his large, close-knit family. Surviving are his six children, Kathie Moore (Tony), Furlong, Pennsylvania; Michael and his fiancé, Madge McGlone, Red Bank; Nancy Gray (George), Montgomery, Texas; Ginger Helm (Tim), Bayville; John (Yuko) Corley, Morganville; Barbara Cwalina (Paul), Marietta, Georgia; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, Larry Corley, of Bayside Manor and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at a later date.
