Crafters Sought for Poricy Park Holiday Shop

MIDDLETOWN – Poricy Park Conservancy will hold its 7th Annual Fun Scouting Skills Day Saturday, Sept. 13, at Poricy Park.
Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts are invited to explore Poricy Park and learn some Scouting skills while having fun. Exciting activities include Compass Frisbee, Tied Up In Knots, Tracks of the Trade, Bandage A Buddy, Fallen Log and more.
Staggered start times are 1 or 2:30 p.m. and will be assigned with paid registration. Participants should plan on allowing 90 minutes to complete activities.
The program is popular and registration closes at 120 Scouts, so it’s recommended to reserve early.
Paid registration received Friday, Aug. 29, is $10 per Scout and includes special badge. Paid registration sent between Sept.1 and 12 is $12 per Scout and also includes special badge. Advance reservations are required and will not be accepted on the day of the event.

Programs are held rain or shine, so please dress accordingly.
