Kathryn Ann “Kay” Cronin, 87, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Dec. 8. Kay was born in New York City and lived in Hazlet for almost 50 years before residing at Brandywine in Colts Neck. Kay worked for Bell Laboratories, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Church of St. Ann in Keansburg and was a volunteer for Project Paul for many years.
Surviving are her four sons and daughters-in-law, James and Susan Swick-Cronin, Timothy Cronin, Robert and Phyllis Cronin, and Peter and Kim Cronin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Maribeth and Robert Cherry, and Eileen and Kevin Giles; sister Norma Harrington; 14 beloved grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2004.
