Salons around New Jersey reopened June 22 to cheers and sighs of relief from clients tired of shaggy manes, split ends, dark roots and unruly eyebrows. Waiting areas were closed clients were asked to wait outside or in their cars until the scheduled appointment time and some salons even erected shields between stations to minimize contact.
