David B. Cadamuro

David B. Cadamuro passed away peacefully in his sleep Dec. 17, 2021. He was a retired senior accounts sales manager for Power Generation at Solar Turbines, a subsidiary of Caterpillar, in Upper Saddle River, where he led turbine-power generation sales of gas turbines in the one-megawatt to 50-megawatt range for over 20 years, always being highly respected by his colleagues. 

Originally from Rumson, David graduated from Christian Brothers Academy, Class of ’72, and Stevens Institute of Technology where he earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and also a master’s degree in management science. A lifelong member of the Chi Psi fraternity, he served as its president while at Stevens and is a continued supporter of the Chi Psi Scholarship Fund. During his too short yet brilliant life, David enjoyed sailing, skiing, competitive fencing, traveling, attending Broadway plays and relaxing poolside.

He was predeceased by his mother Elaine Dorsey Cadamuro and father Norbert J. Cadamuro and brother Joseph J. Cadamuro. David is survived by his sister Linda Cadamuro McBurney and her husband Patrick, and his brother John W. Cadamuro, his wife Barbara (LuBrant), and their son John Franklin Cadamuro to whom he was godfather.

A memorial gathering will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23 at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, NJ 07701. Burial will be private.
