David Lewis Ferullo, dedicated husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully Oct. 22, 2022 at the age of 75.

David was born to Herman and Eva Ferullo in Newark and raised in Point Pleasant Borough. A resident of Little Silver for over 40 years, David recently moved to Farmingdale.

A graduate of Monmouth University, a veteran of the United States Navy, and a Certified Public Accountant, David had a successful 43-year career as a managing partner and senior audit partner of the Curchin Group, LLC in Red Bank. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and served as past president of the Community Associations Institute of New Jersey and the Red Bank Rotary Club.

David is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Susan Virginia Ferullo; his three children, Tammy Kane (Damien Kane) of Manalapan, Brian Ferullo (Tovah Ferullo) of Bel Air, Maryland, and Tracy Schiller (Jaime Schiller) of Danbury, Connecticut; his six grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Ryland, Madden, Kendall and Elena; his siblings, Michael Ferullo, John Ferullo, Steven Ferullo and Connie DeJong; and his many nieces and nephews.

David and his wife Susan were avid travelers and enjoyed their many cruises and trips throughout the country. He was a volunteer youth soccer and softball coach in Little Silver and was actively involved for many years in raising funds to provide dictionaries and supplies to local schools through the Rotary Club. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, watching classic movies, cooking and spending quality time with friends, family and his dogs, Casey and Rainy.

Relatives and friends were invited to the visitation Oct. 26 at John E. Day Funeral Home, ​​Red Bank. A Memorial Service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at First Baptist Church, 84 Maple Ave., Red Bank, with burial to follow at Fair View Cemetery in Red Bank.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org or Veterans Affairs New Jersey Healthcare System at va.gov/new-jersey-health-care/work-with-us/volunteer-or-donate.
