Frank DeAngelis, 93, of Holmdel, passed away in his sleep at home Nov. 21. Funeral Services were held Nov. 21 at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home in Middletown, with the Rev. Joel Biggers officiating. Burial followed at Fair View Cemetery in Middletown.

Frank was born Aug. 13, 1925 in New Brunswick to Elizabeth and Frank DeAngelis. After Saint Peter’s High School, Frank attended Rutgers University and was inducted into the United States Army Air Force as an aerial gunner with Squadron H, 2509th AAF Base Unit for several years. 

He later married his childhood sweetheart Jean Emma Sesee in 1951 and settled in New Brunswick. They were married 55 years. He joined the family business, DeAngelis Buick in New Brunswick for many years. Frank loved the Jersey Shore and moved to Mantoloking in 1970 with his family. He was an avid boater and went on many fishing trips with friends and family. Golfing was his second favorite hobby which he so loved. He also was a member of the Elks Club in Point Pleasant and took part in many of the activities and fund raisers. He was a truly devoted family man; with him, family always came first.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jean; his sister Betty Leposa and husband Frank; his brother-in-law Carl Connolly; and his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Barbara Sesee.

He is survived by his son Frank DeAngelis and his wife Martha; his daughter Beth Ruda and her husband Allan; his sister Loretta Connolly (Carl); his brother Robert DeAngelis and his wife Carolyn; his grandsons Christopher DeAngelis and Frank DeAngelis IV and his wife Christina; grandson Steven Ruda and granddaughter Danielle Ruda; and great-grandson Logan DeAngelis.
