Deborah B. Abeltin, 66, of Middletown, passed away peacefully June 11, 2021. She was born in Jersey City, the youngest child of 14, to the late John and Margaret (Stringer) Buckley. Deborah graduated from Saint Peter’s College with her bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 1996, she moved with her husband William to Lincroft to raise their three daughters. She was dedicated to her family and cherished the memories they made together. 

She was predeceased by her beloved husband William Abeltin in 2014 and by her siblings, Jacqueline Buckley, Alice Dunne, Patricia Kent, Leo Buckley, Robert Buckley, Tommy Buckley and Kenneth Buckley. Surviving are her three loving daughters, Jacqueline and her husband Nikolai, Meagan and Katie; her cherished granddaughter Bridget Nicole born June 7; her dear siblings, John Buckley, Carol Sullivan, Joey Buckley, Dennis Buckley, Margie DeFilippo and Janet Scerbo; and her adored Shih Tzu Bella. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A visitation was held June 16 at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. June 17 at St. James Church, Red Bank. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
