Dennis Bulmer

1049

Dennis Bulmer passed away Dec. 16, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifelong resident of Keansburg and Middletown.

Dennis was born Sept. 12, 1950; 16 years later he met the love of his life, Linda. They would spend the next 65 years building their wonderful family with three children that would grow into eight grandchildren.

Dennis graduated from Middletown High School North in 1969 and then enlisted in the National Guard during the Vietnam Era. Dennis worked as an operating engineer out of Local 825 in New Jersey for over 40 years. During this time, he also began building his smaller businesses that eventually led to the creation of B&D Equipment rentals.

He was a proud Irishman, a Yankees and Giants fan, and an avid boater and fisherman. He loved going on vacations, but nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his family. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandkids, going to their games, recitals, and taking them on vacations. He loved life, he was bigger than life and he was known as “Pops” to everyone. He was the most generous, selfless, hardest working and kindest person in the world. He was a best friend to his wife, a hero to his children and grandchildren, and a friend to everyone he met.

Visitation was held Dec. 21 at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Dec. 22 at St. Ann’s Church, 311 Carr Ave., Keansburg. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
