Children all over the Two River area spotted the Easter Bunny last weekend, out and about to offer a little joy despite the COVID-19 pandemic. In Shrewsbury, families lined the sidewalk Saturday, April 11 to wave to the Bunny as he traveled through the streets by car, thanks to his volunteer helpers. Cars festooned with streamers, stuffed animals, flowers and colorful signs encouraging everyone to “make some noise” greeted the parade watchers throughout the town. In Leonardo on Sunday the Easter Bunny chose an unconventional mode of transportation, saddling up for a horseback ride through the town to wave to everyone delighting in the unusual sight. He had already made an appearance the previous day by fire truck.
