Edward Farley, 84, of Red Bank, passed away Dec. 2 at Riverview Medical Center. He was born in the Bronx, New York to the late William and Helen Farley. Edward raised his family in Lodi and finally settled in Red Bank five years ago.
He worked for Local 638 Steamfitters in New York. Edward was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan and loved spending time watching the horse races. Edward was a proud friend of Bill W. for over 42 years where he was very active in leading meetings, volunteering and sponsoring.
He is predeceased by his siblings, William, Thomas, James, Elizabeth Seaman, Helen Deverey and Mary Valencia. Surviving are his beloved wife of 55 years Ellen (Weismiller) Farley; his loving children, Michael Farley and Elizabeth Murphy and her husband Steve; his cherished grandchildren, Owen and Patrick Farley and John, Nichole and Sean Murphy; and his dear brother John Farley.
Due to COVID-19, a memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
