Elizabeth Mason Cunningham

Elizabeth Mason Cunningham, known to many as Beth, passed away at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank Sept. 14, 2022, at the age of 58. Beth was a lifelong resident of Leonardo, residing in her childhood home until her passing. She was a Qualified Purchasing Agent for the Township of Old Bridge.

Surviving are her loving parents, Bob and Patricia Mason; siblings Robert (Lora) Mason and Robin (Dennis) Moloney; husband of 38 years, John Cunningham; son Michael (Nicole) Cunningham; daughters Alicia (Michael) Halloran and Jamie (Kyle Mahlenbrock) Cunningham; and four grandsons, Braeden, Declan, Ronan and John.

Beth was predeceased by her grandparents, Major Thomas and Mae Lewis and Elbert and Mildred Mason; and her in-laws, Alex and Kathleen Cunningham, all of whom have welcomed her into heaven.

Beth loved her dogs, rescuing and offering them a loving home for years (often to the surprise of John). She cared dearly for all of them and is giving Maddie and the rest cookies right now on rainbow bridge. She also loved the New York Giants, a good cup of coffee, and celebrating Middletown South football wins on Thanksgiving. Most of all, she loved being a Nanny. Her four grandsons were the light of her life, and the kids loved playing trucks and eating candy with her.

Beth, you were taken too soon, but will be with us forever. We love you.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the ASPCA.
