Frances N. Walker, 75, of Red Bank, passed away peacefully Oct. 11, 2021, with her beloved husband by her side. It was her 75th birthday.
Born in Dothan, Alabama, to the late Robert and Frances James, she leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister Mary Charles and her brother Robert James, both of Alabama; three half-sisters, Amendia, Chanie Mae of Alabama and Carolyn; two special friends, Dot Davis of New Jersey and B. Stodghill of Ohio; a loving cousin Janell Ennis of Florida; a host of nieces and nephews; and her loving husband of 55 years James.
She was predeceased by her devoted aunt who raised her, Flozell Grant.
Frances loved music, reading and traveling, especially taking cruises with her husband.
Family and friends visited Oct. 18 at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. A Funeral Service was held at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances’ memory to the Kidney Foundation at kidney.org/donation or by mail to 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
