Doris Frank, died peacefully at home in Shrewsbury on Monday, November 6. She was born to the late Alice Pedell Hamrock and John Hamrock in Newark in 1925 and spent many wonderful years in Union and Elizabeth before moving to Monmouth County.
Doris was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry P Frank; her sisters, Evelyn Shumski, Elsie Hills and Mildred Davis; and brothers, Kenneth and Edward Hamrock. Doris is survived by her daughter, Nancy Gill and son-in-law Brian Gill of Red Bank; her son, Kenneth Brennan and daughter-in-law Diane Brennan of Savannah, Georgia; her grandchildren, Katie and Taylor Gill of Red Bank and Michael Brennan and his wife Merikay of Evergreen Park, Illinois; and her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Cam Brennan, who were absolutely the loves of her life.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, November 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 10 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity, 180 Ridge Rd., Fair Haven.
