Gale Ann Miller of Middletown, age 68, died Oct. 19, 2023, at her home after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 28, 1954, in Jersey City, the daughter of Irene (Drozdowski) and Benjamin Mikulka. On June 12, 1976, at St. Anthony Padua, she married her sweetheart, David Miller.
Gale graduated from St. Anthony Padua High School and then attended St. Peter’s College where she graduated summa cum laude in 1976. She was a parishioner and adorer at Mary Mother of God Church in Middletown.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years David; sons, Dr. Douglas (Maureen) Miller of Colts Neck and Dr. Adam (Huifang) Miller of Winchester, Massachusetts; her sister Eleanor Mikulka of Parlin; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brodrick, Natalie and Madison Miller, who were the joy of her life; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Mikulka and sisters Dorothy Mikulka and Barbara Ritter.
Visitation was held Oct. 24 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy was offered Oct. 25 at Mary Mother of God Church, Middletown. Entombment followed at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro.
