Audrey C. Geer, 92, of Shrewsbury, died on Friday, September 4 at home surrounded by her family. Audrey was born in Fair Haven and was a longtime resident of Shrewsbury. She retired as assistant postmaster for the Lincroft US Post Office.
Audrey was predeceased by her first husband, John C. Long; and her second husband, William H. Geer. She is survived by her sons, John C. Long of Shark River Hills, and James Long of Shrewsbury; her daughter, Kathleen Ann Evans of Chesapeake, Va.; her sister, Eva Lue Broderick of Edgewater, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
There was no visitation. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 11 at 11 a.m. at Fair View Cemetery, 456 Hwy # 35, Middletown. Memorial donations to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 are preferred. The Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
