Georgeann Gallagher, 77, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away Jan. 27, 2023, after losing her battle with lymphoma.
Georgeann was born Oct. 18, 1945, in Jersey City, a daughter of the late Catherine and Peter Miele. She was raised in Jersey City and lived there until 1986 when she moved to Highlands. She and her family settled in Atlantic Highlands in 2005.
Georgeann was a real estate agent for many years and, for the past five years, worked for Resources Real Estate as a Realtor and executive assistant.
Georgeann loved spending time with her family. Her ideal day would be spent at her home entertaining her family and close friends. She could often be found with her grandchildren. She attended all their school and sporting events and was the proudest grandparent there.
She also enjoyed spending quiet time reading or a day out shopping. She will fondly be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
Georgeann is survived by her husband of 39 years Ronald Gallagher and their three sons, Ronald Jr. (Flora), Michael (Susan), and Chris (Cristina). She also leaves behind her sister Fran (Jack) Alexis and nine beloved grandchildren, Paige, Dylan, Jordan, Skylar, Robert, Michael, Tyler, Austin and Charlotte, along with many extended family members and friends.
A memorial Mass was celebrated Feb. 3 at St. Agnes Church. The interment of ashes and committal followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
