Georgia Lee Keeney, 78, of Middletown, passed away July 8. She was born in Jersey City to the late George and Ellen Adams. Georgia enjoyed reading, watching classic movies, news and crafting. Most of all she loved her family unconditionally and cherished the quality time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Capt. John Keeney. Surviving are her loving children, Sean and his wife Tina, Brian and his wife Suzann, Jennifer and her husband Kevin; her cherished grandchildren, Brody, Rory, Jack, Molly and Liam; and her siblings, Marjorie and Albert and his wife June.
Visitation was held July 13 at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, with a prayer service. Interment followed at Fair View Cemetery, Red Bank. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Georgia’s memory to National Ovarian Cancer Coalition at ovarian.org/donate/ways-to-give.
