Grace Marie Grippaldi née Sorensen passed away Sept. 25.
Grace was born Feb. 9, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas. There was no guessing with “Amazing Grace”; she was humble, warm, loving and, most of all, full of smiles. Grace embraced all adventures and adversities with charm and her head held high. Her amazing organizational skills came from 56 years at Fort Monmouth. Grace was a civil servant in many divisions there, proudly, and received many awards.
Grace’s talents didn’t stop there: She taught ceramics for many more years with passion. Travel was what she loved, even trips that were not planned.
Oceanport Methodist Church was her second home and family. Grace was very dedicated to her faith and was a treasure for the United Methodist Women of Oceanport.
Grace was predeceased by infant son Salvatore Musco; husband Salvatore Musco; and husband Charles Grippaldi.
Grace is survived by two wonderful daughters, Lucanne Musco and Karen Musco Parker; loving son-in-law Gregory Parker; amazing and talented Victoria Parker-Vittum and her husband Jordan Vittum; and Mr. James Parker; along with extended loving family, including the Valentinos of Oceanport and the Johnsons of Howell.
A celebration of life for Grace will be held at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 19 at the Oceanport Methodist Church, 50 Main St., Oceanport.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Grace’s honor to the Oceanport Methodist Church. Arrangements by Fiore Funeral Home.
