Harold J. Ostrov, a lifetime resident of the area, passed away peacefully Dec. 7, 2024. In the 93 years Harold lived, he was so many things to so many people. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a dad, a Poppop, an uncle, a friend, a veteran and an educator.
Harold truly had a heart of gold, always looking out for others and lending a listening ear or a helping hand. With humor and passion, Harold shared his wisdom with everyone he touched. Harold will be truly missed by his bride of 70 years, Marilyn; his daughters, Ronni, Wendy and Nancy; his grandchildren Rae (Brian), Sandy (Alan), Jessica, Stacy (Kyle), Kelsey (Lee), Courtney (Daniel), Aaren (Megan), and Alli (Adam); and his great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Harold’s life will be held at a later date. The family encourages you to perform a random act of kindness to honor his legacy.
