Harriet Robison, 83, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away June 1, 2021. Harriet was born May 10, 1938, in Ripley, Ohio, a daughter of the late Martha and J. Stanley Leeds. She was raised in Cincinnati and received her liberal arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In 1960, she married and moved to New Orleans, then in 1964 she moved to Orange and eventually settled in Bloomfield. In 2017, Harriet moved down to the Shore area to be closer to her children.

Harriet was a classically trained pianist and often played at the Central Brick Presbyterian Church in East Orange. She loved being surrounded by children and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She always looked forward to family events and gatherings. 

Harriet is survived by her three children, Abigail Robison Aponte, Brian Robison and Bruce Robison. She also leaves behind two sisters, Lynn Maatman of Cincinnati and Margaret Martin of Chatham, Massachusetts; nine grandchildren, Heather Cook, Emily Robison, Joshua Robison, Lizzie Aponte, Jorge Aponte Jr., Carlos Aponte, Luz Marina Aponte, Ivelisse Aponte and Olga Iris Aponte; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend committal services in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum at 2:45 p.m. Friday, June 11. The funeral procession will meet at the cemetery office around 2:30 p.m.
