Holiday Express Makes A Stop At The Count Basie

429

Tickets are on sale for the Holiday Express benefit show at the Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank on December 15.
The annual show is a rock n’ soul holiday concert for all ages, featuring the Jersey Shore’s most philanthropic musicians performing holiday favorites, all to benefit those less fortunate.
The more than 30 professional musicians and singers blend a unique mixture of traditional, gospel, blues, and rock music into a performance showcasing the entertainment they’ve been providing the less fortunate in the tri-state area for the past 18 years. Young and old will also enjoy an appearance from Frosty, the Grinch and of course Santa himself. This year’s show will also feature new songs from the band’s latest CD, titled “Happy Holidays.”
Every holiday season Holiday Express visits more than 15,000 special individuals. They visit homeless shelters, psychiatric hospitals, developmental centers, children’s hospitals, and other locations whose residents are often forgotten.
Holiday Express is a non-profit organization that delivers music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those with the greatest need for the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year.
Tickets are $25 – $125 and can be purchased online at www.countbasietheatre.org or by calling (732) 842-9000. All proceeds will be used to support the efforts of Holiday Express. More information about Holiday Express is available at www.holidayexpress.org
