James “Jimi” Eastmond Jr., 52, of Hazlet, passed away suddenly Sept. 12, 2022. He was born April 16, 1970 in Cape May Court House. He grew up in Belford and later settled in Hazlet. Jimi was a talented carpenter for NY Local 157. He had a love for music and playing his guitar and was a huge Randy Rhoads fan. He was a sports enthusiast and an avid golfer. He was a diehard Rangers and Mets fan. A life lived to its absolute fullest.
Surviving are his wife Denise Eastmond; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Peter Jagiello; mother Catherine Eastmond; father James Eastmond Sr. and his wife Cindy; a sister and brother, Kate Taylor and Matthew Eastmond; sister-in-law Nicole Eastmond; two half-brothers, Daniel and Casey Eastmond; and five nieces and nephews, Matthew and Mitchell Eastmond, and Emilie, Ryan and Kyle Taylor.
Visitation was Sept. 15 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
