Jason Anthony Ciesmelewski, 43, of Middletown, died suddenly Jan. 23, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Linda (Zitzman) Ciesmelewski.

Jason was an extremely loving and proud father. He was an amazing husband and an extraordinary family man. He enjoyed coaching his sons’ Middletown Little Leagues. Jason was a graduate of Middletown North. 

Jason was an avid gym member and loved to work on his fitness and health goals. He was the co-owner of Yes We Do construction company. He had an eye to see the potential beauty in something and bring it to life.

Jason was loved by all who knew him; his giant personality would light up any room he entered. Being the most caring, loving and compassionate man, he will be sorely missed by all who had the chance to meet him. Jason’s enormous heart believed in giving back and paying it forward to anyone in need. His legacy will live on through his memory.

Jason is survived by his loving wife Kara; sons Jace and Jakks; stepchildren Callista, Cade, Cole and Cohen Lutz; sisters Cindy Deevy and Linda Joslyn of Jackson, and Keri (Ron) Scheurman of Port Monmouth; mother and father-in-law, Michelle and Craig Rounsaville; sister-in-law Lissa (Jeff) Hildenbrand of Easton, Pennsylvania; nieces and nephew Courtney, Morgan and Kyle Scheurman; and great-nephews Bentley and Carter.

Family and friends visited Jan. 28 at John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. A service was held at the funeral home. Interment was private.
