Jeremy C.J. Duder, age 43, of Matawan, passed away Dec. 11, 2021, of neurofibromatosis brain cancer. He was the beloved husband of Megan Paulus and devoted father to Aidan Duder; loving brother to Katie Duder; and cherished son of mother Nancy McLure, stepfather Frank Siwiec, father John Duder and stepmother Anne Mele. Jeremy is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his loyal pets.

Jeremy was born in New Zealand and grew up in New Jersey. A Boy Scout in his childhood, Jeremy loved the outdoors. He enjoyed sailing on the Navesink River and loved spending summers in South Hero, Vermont. He was also a lifelong Yankees fan.

Jeremy was a graduate of Hofstra University where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He lived his life surrounded by loving friends and colleagues. He will be remembered for his generous and beautiful spirit, gentle heart and unwavering compassion.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service at 11 a.m. Dec. 18 at the First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, 883 Route 34, Matawan, where his family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeremy’s memory to the Children’s Tumor Foundation at ctf.org.
