Joan Paraspolo Daley, 67, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home Oct. 30, 2021. She was born in Brooklyn and lived in Atlantic Highlands for seven years.
Joan worked as a surgical coordinator for Ophthalmic Physicians of Monmouth. Joan loved to spend time with her family, especially going to the beach and spoiling her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of six years, William Daley; daughters, Alyssa (Thomas) McCann, and Lynn (Joseph) Thein; step-daughter Kristyn (Brian) Friedlich; brother Anthony (Michele) Paraspolo; her grandchildren, Sierra and Kristopher Lorenzo, Emma Thein, Ethan and Ayla Friedlich, and Emily Muliero; and her nephews Dominick and Vincent Paraspolo. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Jean Paraspolo.
Visitation was held Nov. 3 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy was offered Nov. 4 at St. Agnes RC Church, Atlantic Highlands.
Joan wasn’t fond of flowers. She found solace in Mary’s Place by the Sea. A donation in her name can be made to Mary’s Place by the Sea, 22 Main Ave., Ocean Grove, NJ 07756.
Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
