Joy Marie Massell, 65, of Neptune, formerly of Warminster, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully Oct. 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late William and Catherine Siegfried.
Joy was the epitome of strength who loved to create culinary masterpieces, cheer on her Philadelphia Eagles and most of all spend time with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, James C. Massell III; her son James C. Massell IV; her sister Kay Stefanack; and brother William Siegfried.
Joy is survived by her beloved son Chris Massell and his wife Jennifer; her precious grandson Carson; a sister Colleen Giebler and her husband William; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Joy’s caregivers and friends, Jeanne, Robert and everyone else who has cared for Joy over the years.
There was a Mass of Christian Burial Oct. 22 at Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach. An interment followed at White Marsh Memorial Park in Ambler, Pennsylvania.
