Judith Anne Northridge

Judith Anne Northridge, 86, of Red Bank, passed away April 4, 2025. Judith was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, to Hertel and Helen (Snow) Pariseau. She was a longtime devoted member of the Presbyterian Church at Shrewsbury and the church secretary for many years.

Judy will long be remembered for her class, kindness, grace sense of humor and her wonderful laugh.

She loved to travel and appreciated other cultures and religions. Judy was the heart and soul of every gathering whose warmth pulled others closer like a cozy fire on a cool lake night. Her love for the lake and her cherished lake house defined much of her life. It was there that she hosted the annual July Northridge family reunion, a tradition that wove the Northridge clan together year after year. Judy’s involvement in the lake community produced many lifelong friends and even more lasting memories.

She was a devoted Army wife who made the life of relocating seamless and an adventure for all. Over the years, Judy proudly accompanied her husband Jack and family to military assignments in Virginia, Alabama, Kansas, Maryland, California, and Bangkok, Thailand. She was the ideal military wife, strong and resilient. Judy took on the many home responsibilities during Jack’s three tours to Vietnam.

Judith was predeceased by her parents and, in 2006, by her beloved husband of 47 years, John O. Northridge.

She is survived by her children: Scott (Susan) of Utah, Mark (Melissa) of Red Bank, David (Sloane) of Texas and Malee Anne (Jennie) Northridge of Matawan; and brothers-in-law Robert (Noreen) Northridge of New Hampshire and Mark (Nancy) Northridge, also of New Hampshire. Judith also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Brant, Seth, Hunter, Sam, Sarah, Jack Henry, Halle, Lewis, Charlie, Riley and Emma, and her great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mason, Dahlia, Bobbi, Brie, Maya and, coming soon, Vicente.

Judy spent the later part of her life at her Lake House on Buggs Island Lake with her companion Joe Kaczmarski Sr.

Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon April 10 at John E. Day Funeral Home. A funeral home service will commence at noon, followed by burial at the Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Shrewsbury.
