Justin D. Hamill, born Dec. 19, 1988, died Jan. 30, 2022.
Justin succumbed to his longstanding battle with mental health and addiction. Justin was compassionate, understanding and incredibly good-natured. He loved animals and the outdoors, and you could usually find him enjoying his time playing fetch with the family dog. He was extremely creative, talented and intelligent, often writing and illustrating short stories.
As one of five boys, he either had a great sense of humor or was forced into having one. Justin loved spending time with his mother and four brothers, celebrating their shared passion for hockey and the New Jersey Devils.
Justin was preceded in death by his father Geoffrey Hamill. He will be remembered by his mother Linda Hamill, his brothers, Jared, Jeremy, Jon and Jason, as well as his niece and nephew, Emma and Jeffrey.
Justin wanted nothing more than to be at peace. We now believe he is at peace.
Visiting was held Feb. 3 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A Funeral Mass was offered Feb. 4 at St. Catharine’s Church, Holmdel. Burial followed at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
