Joan Kaminski, 73, of Belford, passed away suddenly on December 23. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and eventually moved to Middletown where she lived for the past 45 years.
Joan was an executive secretary for St. Mary’s Church in New Monmouth, first employed under Msgr. Bulman. She recently retired after 37 years of service to her parish. She was an active and devout parishioner of St Mary’s, helping and participating in church activities. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Joanne and Bob De Leo, Nadine and Michael Abline; two sons, Randy Kaminski and John Kaminski; grandchildren, Alexa, Ryan Michael, Bobby, Ryan Alexander, Rachel, Justin and Peter; a sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Dan Probst; her nephews, Warren and his wife Karen Brozio, Dale Ramsey; and many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 28 at Mary Mother Of God Church, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy was offered on Tuesday, December 29 at Mary Mother of God Church. Burial followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. For more information or to send condolences, please visit www.pflegerfh.com.
