Thelma Kessler, 90, died at home on Wednesday, November 30. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and she resided in Clifton, West End and Key Biscayne, Florida. She was a graduate of Erasmus High School, Brooklyn, and Adelphi College, Long Island. She married Irving Kessler of Brooklyn, New York, in 1947.
She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Irving, in 1989. Thelma, the family matriach, is survived by her two daughters, Laurie Olefson, of Fair Haven and Mara Neske, of Highlands; and her three grandchildren, Jacob Neske, Dr. Sidney Olefson, and Ilana Olefson.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the March of Dimes.
