Kimberly Stacey Howard, age 57, died May 20, 2024, after a short illness. Born at Monmouth Memorial Hospital in Long Branch in 1966, Kim resided in Fair Haven her entire life. She attended Knollwood Elementary School and graduated from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, then attended Kean College in Union for two years.
A lover of books and learning, Kim was a voracious reader and always curious about history. She had an incredible memory and was employed as a secretary by Rainbow Vacuum Cleaners in Staten Island and Central Staffing in Red Bank.
Kim treasured her family dearly. Surviving are her beloved mother, Norma Bland Howard, and her adoring brother, Herbert B. Howard, both of Fair Haven, and her nephew, Jarryd Howard, of Long Branch. She was predeceased by her father, Herbert H. Howard, her maternal grandparents, Harry and Ann Bland of Red Bank, and her paternal grandparents, Clinton and Elizabeth Howard of Fair Haven. She also leaves behind three aunts, Alma Howard, Mae Alexander and Anna Bland, four uncles, Wilbur Bland, Ollin Bland, Rufus Bland and Harold Bland, and many cousins. She was especially close to her cousins, Ronald Taylor of Red Bank and Cervin Howard of Neptune.
As Kim adored cats, any donations in her memory to the ASPCA at ASPCA.org would be most appreciated.
