Lauren Hope Vigilante of Middletown passed away June 15, 2026, at the age of 37.
Born July 27, 1988, Lauren was a beautiful, kind and loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin and friend whose warmth touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She faced her battle with brain cancer with remarkable courage, grace and strength, inspiring all who walked beside her through even the most difficult days.
Lauren was a talented and creative artist whose passion for design shaped both her education and career. She proudly graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in textile design. Her creativity and dedication led her to a successful career as a senior graphic designer, where she created beautiful bedding designs for Envogue International. Lauren took great pride in her work, and her artistic talent can be seen in the many designs she brought to life.
One of her greatest joys was her deep love of music and Broadway. She especially treasured the Backstreet Boys and “Wicked,” whose songs brought her comfort, happiness and countless cherished memories.
Lauren also looked forward to her favorite family tradition each year – spending July in Wildwood with her cousins. Those beach days, filled with laughter, sunshine and the love of family, were among her happiest moments and created memories that will be treasured forever.
Lauren leaves behind her devoted mother, Hope; her loving father, Rob; her beloved brother, Robert; her cherished puppy Zoey; and the many relatives and dear friends who will miss her deeply and hold her memory close to their hearts.
Though her family’s hearts are broken by her loss, they find comfort in knowing that Lauren’s kindness, generosity, beautiful spirit and unwavering love will continue to live on in all those whose lives she touched.
Lauren’s life was a gift to everyone who knew her, and her memory will forever be a blessing.
