Lucille Theresa Bradshaw of Red Bank, 74, passed away at Hackensack Medical Center in Hackensack June 12, 2021. She was born in Manhattan, New York, to the late Victor M. Caruso and Lucille (Carosella) Caruso. 

Lucy served as parish secretary for St. James
RC Church for nearly a decade before her retirement in 2019. 

A devoted wife and mother, Lucy loved relaxing on the beach, reading, ice cream, science fiction and fantasy films and her native Brooklyn, but her greatest source of joy was her grandchildren, to whom she was “Nonna.” She touched the lives of many people in New York and New Jersey and was loved by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Anthony Caruso. 

Surviving are her husband, George F. Bradshaw; her children and their spouses, Denise and Brian Bonder, George Bradshaw, Jennifer Bradshaw and Lewis Vaden, and Patricia Bradshaw; her brothers and sister-in-law, Paul and Melisa Caruso and Vincent Caruso; her sister and brother-in-law Joan and Terrance Masterson; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Reese, Braden, Ally, Emma and Ellie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation took place June 16 at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. June 17 at St. James RC Church in Red Bank. All other arrangements are private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Lucy’s memory to the charity she gave of herself selflessly to for many years, Birthright of Monmouth County, P.O. Box 202, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
