Marie Catherine Sadowski, 90, of Belford, died May 17, 2022, in Holmdel.
She was born in Summit and graduated from East Side High School in Newark. She lived in Belford for over 60 years.
Marie worked many jobs during her life, but most recently at a local doctor’s office as an assistant.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband John W. Sadowski and her son Paul S. Sadowski. Marie is survived by her brother Peter Smith and his wife Bonnie of Cherry Hill; her son Michael Sadowski and his wife Myriam of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Andrew John and his wife Heather of Ellensburg, Washington, and Daniel M. Sadowski and his wife Sandra Milena of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 27 at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28 at St. Mary’s Church, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Road, Middletown. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
