Marie K. Carhart née Fisler, 90, passed away peacefully April 23, 2022. She was born in Belford and together she and her husband Ronald Carhart raised their sons and operated Carhart Construction Company from their home in Belford. Marie was a graduate of Leonardo High School, a homemaker and the bookkeeper for the family business.
Ron and Marie retired in 1993 and moved to Carolina Trace Golf and Country Club in Sanford, North Carolina, where they enjoyed many years of fun, golf and wonderful friendships. They recently returned to Monmouth County to be closer to their family.
Surviving Marie are her loving husband of 71 years, Ronald Carhart; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Gracann Carhart Jr.; Brian and Karen Carhart; grandchildren Daniel (Cynthia) Carhart, Ashley (Mina) Khalil, Amy (Jeffrey) Kozub, and Allison Carhart; great-grandchildren Cameron and Charlotte Carhart; brother Frank Fisler; and many Carhart and Fisler nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. All services are private.
