Mary Elizabeth Milnes-Lynch, 71, passed away March 11, 2023. She was born on Staten Island, and has resided in Middletown for the past 47 years. Mary was a graduate of Tottenville High School and received an associate degree from Brookdale Community College.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Joseph Milnes, and her beloved husband of 47 years, Owen Teevan Lynch. She is survived by her daughter Courtney Elizabeth and son-in-law Joseph Parrino. She is also survived by her two brothers, Gordon (Amy) and Douglas (Tracey), her loving in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of long-time friends.
Mary was a kind and loving woman who enjoyed the beach, travel and her home, which she graciously opened to her family for holidays and birthdays. Most of all, Mary loved her family. Her husband Owen and their daughter Courtney were the center of her life and she never ceased to show them just how much she loved them. She adored her brothers and their families and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation was March 15 at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A funeral service was held March 16 at the funeral home. Interment immediately followed the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
