Mary Jane Noone, née McGuire, age 83, of Sea Bright, passed away peacefully at home with her children by her side Jan. 27, 2022. She was born in New York and was a proud product of Woodside, Queens.
Mary Jane lived her life with boundless energy and determination. She was a loving wife and mother and a “second Mom” to extended family and friends. She devoted many years to fundraising and organizing for Project Children, which over 40 years brought 23,000 children from Northern Ireland to the U.S. for a summer of peace.
Surviving her are her two children, Caragh Woods (Michael) and Patrick Donnell Noone (Alicia), and her grandchildren, Helen, Patrick and Lucille Noone.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas F. Noone in 2006.
A memorial Mass will be offered at noon Feb. 12 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 141 Navesink Ave., Highlands. There are no calling hours and no flowers please.
