Ann E. Mauger, 88, of Tinton Falls, passed away on March 4. Ann was born in Oakland, California, to Walter and Marjorie Giesecke. She was married to Kenneth Mauger and together they raised their four children in Fair Haven. Ann was a member of the First Baptist Church of Red Bank where she was a deaconess and enjoyed Women’s Fellowship. She also was a longtime PEO sister. Ann was slow to anger, quick to forgive and give grace.
Ann was known as a sweet and gentle spirit by those around her. She loved the Lord, her family and her country. She enjoyed the beach, traveling, cooking, gardening and being with her family.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; and her sister, Marne Boone.
She is survived by her children, David Mauger of Farmingdale, Betsy Singer and her husband Bruce of Seaville, Janet Garley and her husband Scott of Little Silver, and Peter Mauger of Middleburg, Florida; her sister, Barbara Smith of Cherry Hill; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Jaime, Scotty, Brooke, Beth, Caitlyn, Jake and Michael.
Memorial donations may be made to Homeside Hospice, LLC, 67 Walnut Ave, #205, Clark, NJ 07066. The Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
