Maureen P. Delepine, 92, of Middletown, died peacefully at home Jan. 22, 2026. She was born in New York City and was raised in the Bronx before moving with her young family to Middletown more than 63 years ago. Maureen worked for many years in the banking industry, retiring as an assistant manager.
Surviving are her four daughters, Norma (Michael Leist) Delepine, Maureen Delepine, Patricia Delepine and Barbara Delepine; her son, Michael (Susan) Delepine; six grandchildren, Caitlin, Christie, Connor, Morgan, Peter and Emily; and five great-grandchildren.
Maureen was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Francis “Frank” X. Delepine; her son, Francis Gerard Delepine; two grandsons, Taylor Delepine and Michael RJ Leist; and a granddaughter, Lauren Marie Delepine. She was also preceded by her parents, Michael and Sabina Ruane; her brother, Brother Martin Ruane, FMS; and her sister, Norma Ruane.
Anyone who knew Maureen knew she was all about her family and spending quality time with them. She was an avid knitter and enjoyed reading (when her eyes were still good). She and Frank loved traveling to California, Ireland, London, Scotland, Hawaii, Alaska and so much more! A few once-in-a-lifetime highlights came late in life, with an opportunity to see the Northern Lights and a trip to Niagara Falls.
Maureen touched many people’s lives over her many years.
Visitation was held Jan. 28 John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy was offered Jan. 29 at St. Mary’s Church, Middletown.
