Michael James Donovan, age 67, passed away June 4, 2024, in Highlands. He was born Aug. 17, 1956, in New York, New York.
Michael graduated from Mater Dei High School in Middletown. After high school, he began his career working for Chemical Bank in Manhattan and later joined the United States Postal Service, where he dedicated several years of service at the Monmouth processing and distribution center.
He is survived by his brother Thomas Donovan. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Donovan Sr., and his mother, Julia.
A viewing was held June 10 at Posten-McGinley Funeral Home, Atlantic Highlands. The funeral service was held June 11 at St. Mary’s Church in Middletown, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
