Minnie Laddaga, 96, of Middletown, passed away March 31, 2023. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Brooklyn, New York most of her life.

That’s where she met the love of her life Vincent Laddaga. After getting married, they started a family and raised two beautiful children. Minnie and Vincent would spend 68 wonderful years together before his passing in 2015.

Minnie touched so many lives in so many ways over the years. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Her smile would light up any room. She loved making a traditional Sunday dinner (gravy, pasta and incredible meatballs) for her extended family. One of her favorite pastimes was crocheting and she made blankets for her friends and family that are still used today. She loved flowers and cultivated an amazing garden that she took great pride in. She left us with so many wonderful memories and she will be missed.

Minnie is survived by her son Michael Laddaga, his wife Frances and daughter Madeline Mulvihill and her husband Mike; her five grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Vincent, Jessica and Francesca; and great-grandchildren, Aidan, Vincent, Samantha and Victoria.

Visitation was held April 4 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown and streamed via Zoom. Prayers were offered during the visitation. A Funeral Service was offered April 5 at the Chapel of the Good Shepard, St. Charles Cemetery. Burial followed at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York. A repast was held at Trento Restaurant in Farmingdale.

In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution in Minnie’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
