Jack Mogavero, 83, of Marlboro, passed away on August 18 in Red Bank. Jack was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was in the US Air Force and served his country during the Korean War. Jack received the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Occupation Medal w/clasp. He was the chairman, CEO and president of General Healthcare Corporation in Piscataway before his retirement. Jack was an avid horseback rider and rode competitively in his younger years.

Jack was predeceased by his wife, Gloria, in 2001. He is also pre-deceased by his sister, Rose, and his brother, Sam. He is survived by his daughters, Jackie Bachman of Brick, Michelle Mogavero of Colts Neck, Kristen Lisowski of Red Bank and Bridget Petrusyk of Florida; and his sister, Nina Militano. He also proudly leaves behind his six beautiful grandchildren, Nicole, Matt, Ashley, Jack, Luke and Brooke.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22 with a prayer service and followed by military honors at the Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
